Joni Stumpf, Owner/Director

Joni Graduated from University of Nevada Reno in 2001 with a BA in Psychology and in 2004 graduated from Boston University with a MA in Criminal Justice. Joni became assistant teacher for Washoe County School District in Reno, NV from 2005-2010. She realized her dream of having her own business, which was a mental center for children. It wasn’t until 2023 that Joni realized that she wanted to provide a supportive and affordable preschool for those families in need. This is how she started Bizzy Bee Daycare, a non-profit preschool which is education based.

Bizzy Bee Daycare’s goal is to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children. We are dedicated to maintaining a quality learning atmosphere. Bizzy Bee Daycare strives to provide activities that allow for optimal developmental progress of each child in social, emotional, cognitive, literacy, math, science, physical growth, and the arts. The use of manipulatives and hands-on activities enrich concept development, enhance intellect, and encourage natural curiosity with exploration. Physical development is an equally important component of each child’s development. Our play and activities are designed to facilitate physical strength, agility, and coordination. Children are provided with many opportunities to learn and practice social skills such as taking turns, good manners, problem-solving, and communication with other children and adults. Bizzy Bee Daycare program provides a well-rounded curriculum that is designed with the child’s developmental needs in mind. Bizzy Bee Daycare feels each child is special. This is evident through the individual attention and caring each child receives during their time at Bizzy Bee Daycare.

Ubicación

Our Center is located in the front of the Porta Del Sol Apartments 1915 Simmons St Building B Las Vegas, NV 89106. With easy access to transit, we are 10 minutes from the Main Street of Rancho Drive. We are steps away from Ollie Detwiler Elementary School.

Acerca de nuestro programa

At Bizzy Bee Preschool we combine mental health and education. At our school, we teach the concepts of math, science, art, social sciences and early literacy through our play-based, child-led curriculum. Our goal is to prepare children for grade school and offer extended care for families to work.
