My name is Alicia Baca, I am the owner of Ali’s sunshine daycare. I have 3 children and I am the middle child of 7. I currently have 18 nieces and nephews, so I am no stranger to a little bit of chaos.

I am Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First aid certified. I am hands on with children and have many years of experience in caring for them. I love learning and taking courses to improve my childcare knowledge. I hope to provide a safe place your child will feel loved and valued.

Filosofía

At Ali’s Sunshine daycare it is import for us to keep children safe while they are having fun and learning new things. I feel a growing and learning child thrives best when they are listened to. It is important for them to learn a healthy and safe way to express their feelings and emotions. Learning to have manners and be respectful and to treat people how they would like to be treated. Also, to learn to take responsibility for their action and to apologize.

All children are unique and learn differently, I also think consistency is key to help the child develop and it is important that parents and providers communicate.

We provide a play base program, we believe kids learning hands on and having fun helps develop motor skills and creativity, problem solving and sensory stimulation. Some quiet time is also key, like Reading books to help with language and building memory, learning with puzzles and blocks can help them focus and problem solve, and outdoor play can help with imagination and negotiating conflict.

Our goal is for your child to look forward to coming to daycare and be excited to learn new things. We want our parents/guardians to feel at peace leaving their child at Ali’s sunshine daycare.

At Ali’s Sunshine daycare, I pride myself in providing quality childcare. I believe in learning with fun and loving attention for every child. I actively work on developing your child’s motor skills, reading skills, and basic concepts (telling time, seasons, and geography). As a provider, I balance having a play-based program with offering an academic curriculum for all ages.

You may be working parents or even a single parent looking for an affordable day care option. I provide twice the service for a great price. I take pride in preparing kids for school and helping instill confidence in a caring environment.

Additionally, I provide:

· Hot, fresh and nutritious meals and snacks daily · CPR, First Aid and certified

· Fluent in Spanish
