Alejandra Lujan - Owner of Little Sunshine Daycare / Director

I have 21 years working in child care. I started as a Registered Home in an apartment 16 years ago with 6 children and then expanded to a home with more children enrolled. My family child care program is now 5-star rated. I have my child development certificate and a few classes short of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood.

Filosofía

All children have different talents and skills that should be acknowledged during the first year of life. Children learn a lot from their families and through games that are around them all the time. Therefore, parents have the right to know about all the programs available to help their children gain knowledge as possible.

Acerca de nuestro programa

Our program is 5-star and bilingual.

We do Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays we teach and do activities in English, and Tuesdays and Thursdays we focus on speaking and learning in Spanish.

Before beginning our program and once parents are decided, I love to have the children visit first before their first day with their parents. That way they can get to know our space and our teachers. We do this to ensure their first day is the smoothest possible and really enjoy connecting with them from the beginning.
