Susie Burke, Director Degree in Child development, ran a home daycare for 7 years several years ago. I was a director for another daycare in Rio Rancho for 5 years 2017 to 2022. I realized that having my own daycare was something I needed to do for the children and parents of Albuquerque to give back to the community; offering great care in small daycare setting.

Our goal at “A Place to Call Home” is to provide exceptional care in a safe environment. We encourage our parents to ask questions n regard to the daily care of their children. We are here to “fill in” for parents, not take anyone’s place. We provide age-appropriate activities that support social skills, emotional and intellectual development as well as physical development. Staff are encouraged to engage and support all children with new learning ideas.

Come see what makes A PLACE TO CALL HOME unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.
3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
