Our Teachers

I am a child care provider with over 18 years of experience caring for kids. As a parent who struggled to find reliable child care services for my own children, I decided to be the solution. I am a passionate and dedicated care provider who strives to provide a safe space for children to learn and grow. I believe in providing personalized attention to each and eery child in my care. I understand every child is unique and has different needs and work hard to ensure that each child feels heard, seen and appreciated. Our warm and welcoming environment ensures that kids feel right at home.

Philosophy

I will provide care for children in a safe, home-like and family-oriented environment, which is helpful in building the confidence kids need in their developmental stages and promotes good behavior. Children under my care will receive a safe, loving, and respectful care (no different than the care I provide to my own children).

I will help them to learn by providing fun and age-specific activities to develop their own abilities and personality. I will get involved in this learning process by promoting participation in their activities and encouraging good manners to socialize with each other and by setting, giving, and showing examples of good behavior.

Location

We are located near Ben Archer’s.

About our program

Sunnyside Daycare provides a safe, nurturing home-like environment focused on each child so they can have excellent learning experiences through play.

We have many animals here at Sunnyside Daycare that our kids enjoy caring for. We teach practical skills by having the kids interact with them. They learn to be empathetic toward other living creatures, they learn basic resource allocation when they measure food for the animals. They learn about responsibility, routine, and consistency, and of course it brings them joy. We replicate this learning-by-doing style in everything we do.
