Experienced, Caring, and Qualified Team At Little Gems Academy, your child is in good hands. Our team is made up of passionate educators with strong backgrounds in early childhood development. Together, we bring years of hands-on experience working with young children in nurturing, structured environments.

Our lead team members have completed formal education in early childhood and related fields, including bachelor’s and associate degrees. We’ve worked in classrooms, childcare programs, and Montessori-style settings—bringing a blend of professionalism and heart to every day.

What truly sets us apart is our deep love for working with children. As a director and mother of five, I’ve dedicated myself to creating a clean, joyful space where every child can thrive. Our staff is trained, caring, and always growing—committed to helping your little one shine.

Mission Statement

★ Mission Statement (Preschool – Ages 3–5) At Little Gems Academy, our mission is to provide a clean, joyful, and nurturing environment where children ages 3–5 thrive through hands-on learning, strong hygiene habits, and early life skills.

We help children shine by guiding them to become confident learners, respectful friends, and healthy little humans—ready for kindergarten and beyond. We will use IXL for Pre-K and Kindergarten readiness.

Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum includes Language Arts (English for all, Arabic optional), Mathematics, Practical Life, Cultural Studies, Science Experiments, Manners, Arts & Crafts, and SocialEmotional Learning. We integrate outdoor play, sensory exploration, and story time each day.

Nestled within the Southern New Mexico Islamic Center, our program offers a peaceful and secure environment in a quiet residential area.

We’re just minutes away from the NMSU campus, nearby elementary schools, and public parks—providing easy access for drop-offs, pick-ups, and family routines. The area is well-connected by major roads and public transportation, with ample on-site parking available.
