We have three teachers in each classroom supporting each child’s learning goals. Our Lead Teachers have been a part of the Christina Kent ECC community from 18 years to 3 years. You can visit our website at www.christinakent.org to get to know each teaching team.

We believe in well-trained teachers with small group sizes to bring quality education to our youngest learners. We know that when we focus on relationships and listening to our children they will become active participants in their own educational journey. We are a play-based program designed for open-ended exploration and respecting the competency of each child. We understand and respect this is how children build skills that will aid them in their development. Our program works with families and understands that parents are a child’s first teacher. Our open-door policy fosters a community environment filled with mutual respect and shared goals.

Christina Kent was founded in 1919 by the Albuquerque Women’s League to serve the children of working families. We are the first licensed child care center in NM and have a hundred year history of low cost, high quality child care.
