Our Teachers

Cheri Chalupa, Director/Co-Teacher I have been working in the Early childhood education field for 30 years. I love watching children learn and grow every day. I have my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from UNL. I live on a small farm that is located between Crete and Wilber that has been in my family for many generations. I enjoy living out in the country because it lets me indulge in my love of animals.

Jennifer Jenny - Co - Teacher

My family has lived in Crete for 24 years! My husband’s name is Brad and he works at Doane University. We have two sons, Miles and Pacen. I have a background in teaching Special Education for 13 years.

We have been blessed to have our child attend there.

Philosophy

We are a Christ centered program that believes in having exploration as well as structure to ensure the best program possible for all those who attend.

About our program

Our program is small, which allows for more one on one attention. We also value the Lutheran faith in our program with daily Jesus Time and Chapel on Wednesdays with Pastor Benson from Bethlehem Lutheran Church as well as Pastor Toensing from St. John’s in Kramer. It is so amazing to see how these children are all friends with each other as well as their love for Jesus. We definitely have one of the best programs around!
