Choose Cross My Heart Learning Center for the assurance that your child will be guided by a team of dedicated educators. Cross My Heart was founded by Tina Cross-O’Bannon. Mrs. O’Bannon is a retired educator with over 30 years of experience. She holds a valid class AA State of Mississippi Teaching License in Elementary Education and Special Education (Mild/Moderate Disabilities and Emotional Disability). She also holds an A Teaching License in Business Education. She recently received her Childcare Director’s Credential from the Mississippi Department of Human Services for successfully completing a 135-hour course of study for childcare administrators on best practices in childcare management. Mrs. O’Bannon is trained in First-Aid, CPR, MAB (Managing Aggressive Behavior) and Mindfulness. She has completed training in the Regulations Governing Licensure of Childcare Facilities, Directors Orientation, Playground Safety, and Menu Writing. She is ServSafe certified, holds a valid MSDH Immunization Form 121 and has Passed fingerprint screenings for Child Abuse Central Registry, and Sex Offender checks.

Our team consists of: a licensed Art/STEAM teacher with over 8 years of experience, a licensed retired Early Childhood/Elementary teacher/Reading coach with over 25 years of experience, a certified ServSafe dietician with CNA certification. All members of the team are First Aid trained and CPR certified.

Our passionate staff is committed to providing personalized care and ensuring an enriching-supportive learning environment.
