LaShona Douglass, Owner

LaShona earned her CDA in Early Childhood Development in 2022 from SafeGard University. Over the years, I dreamed of having my own in-home childcare program. My favorite thing about what I do is developing relationships with the children that I teach and their families. I believe that small class size and the development of a strong community allow myself and my team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.

Filosofía

At our school, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young explorers. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together. We teach curriculum daily and find that’s it’s really important to make sure all children engage in curriculum. We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. Our team of experienced and innovative teachers do this by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.

Ubicación

We’re in the Spanish Lake neighborhood; on a Cul-de-sac street in a single-family home. With easy access to transit, everything from Stores to Gas Stations are just a short walk away. We’re a few blocks away from Christian Northeast Hospital.

Our program defines high quality child-care as one that has the child’s health and safety at the top of their list, the child is happy, the program is conveniently located and affordable, and is a key to balancing work and family so that parents have peace of mind while at work.

2. Tour our program Come see what makes Future Starz Playhouse LLC unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
