The T-Bird Learning Center will foster a safe, engaging, and diverse learning community. Every child’s social, emotional, physical, cognitive, intellectual, and creative abilities will be nurtured and encouraged in a play-based environment.
TLC staff collaborate and evaluate our practices to ensure we meet the needs of all learners. We partner with families to establish a positive foundation for life-long learning.
Staff will use Missouri Early Learning Standards to create educational and engaging lesson plans and find each child’s individual learning style to build on the skills the child already possesses. Staff will connect these learning experiences to real-world situations using hands-on activities. We will use play time as a way to teach the concepts of social/emotional development, STEM, language, problem-solving, and fine/gross motor skills. T-Bird Learning Center will seek to provide a home away from home for the children, so they can flourish in a comforting atmosphere that fosters a positive learning environment.
The T-Bird Learning Center is licensed through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Section of Child Care Regulations. A copy of the T-Bird Learning Center’s current license, along with information containing the state licensing rules, is available in the TLC Main Office. T-Bird Learning Center is inspected throughout the year by the Missouri Department of Health Sanitation, Missouri Division of Fire Safety, and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services section of Child Care Regulations. Ensuring child safety is our number one priority.
