We would like to WELCOME you and your family to “Precious Moments Early Childhood” (PMEC). We will be caring for your child or children, and making sure every learning experience will be safe, fun and unique. Your child will learn age-appropriate concepts: language/literacy, cognitive, social-emotional development and self-exploration. More importantly, we will provide your child with opportunities to develop mental and physical abilities by inspiring, engaging and teaching him/her.
We have been in business since 2002. We are a State Licensed facility through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education of Childhood. We are trained in Infant & Child CPR and Adult CPR/AED. We also, hold certifications in the field of Early Childhood Education through Greater Kansas City Association for Education of Young Children, The Family Conservancy, First Step Fund, Francis Child Development Institute at Penn Valley Community College and many other organizations.
I’m proud to say, that we also have partnerships with The Family Conservancy Head Start, Early Head Start Program and the Grandview Parents as Teachers Program.
During our educational experiences, we have learned critical early- childhood development theories and have studied about creative practices for early- childhood education. (PMEC) have a better understanding of the needs of children at the infant/toddler, pre-school and school-age stage.
We can assure you that your child or children will be in a safe, healthy, clean and loving atmosphere. We have secured entrances and a surveillance system in place to maintain a controlled setting, allowing only authorized access.
