Shawn Surles
Shawn has over 20 years of experience working with preschool children. Shawn has her CDA credential and is constantly updating her skills as learning is a life long process. She enjoys engaging with families and their child on their progress and assist with goals for the family as well as the child. Shawn believes the parent is the child’s first teacher. Shawn enjoys being innovative in her approach to teaching using language and music rich environment to get the children to learn while playing.
Filosofía
Our program is all about a safe and consistent environment for the essential of the child’s well-being. We will support positive and responsive interactions among children, staff and parents. Our center encourages children to interact and communicate in a positive way. We understand the uniqueness of each child, therefore we provide care nurturing those traits in all children. We implement activities that foster their natural curiosity and wonder. We strive for early literacy and math. We focus on the whole child by including fine and large motor activities. Indoor and outdoor activities will be used daily.
