I have been working this field of Daycare since I was a teen. I started as a helper with a childhood friend with her daycare. I then with off and help in a preschool room where my son was going to school. I was then asked by my son’s teacher to apply as a sub and see if I would like it the same. After that I became a Psa and helped in classroom permanently. Once I was ready to move up in a different position I gained my Cda and became an associate teacher. I am now ready to take my career to the next level. My favorite thing about what I do is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and their families. She believes that small class size and the development of a strong community allow her and her team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.
Filosofía
Our daycare is home away from home so we strive to create a safe and caring community of young explorers inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together. We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. Our team of experienced and innovative teachers do this by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.
