Zina Coleman, Director

Zina has been in the industry serving and advocating for her community for over 25 years. She realized her passion for caring for young children early on while working in the medical field of pediatrics. Which prompted her to start her own childcare program. She is very passionate about the love and care that her team provides to their families. Their teachers have over 35 years of experience and training in Early Childhood Education and Development combined.

Filosofía

Our school offers a multicultural, safe, nurturing, fun-loving environment where children can discover, learn and grow. We utilize one of the top industry curriculum and assessment tools, Teaching Strategies. Which is NAEYC-approved.

We believe that a play-based child-led program that incorporates the concepts of math, science, engineering, art, social sciences, and early literacy gives young minds the developmental skills necessary to become lifelong learners.

Ubicación

We are located in a quaint subdivision in the north Pontiac area surrounded by community parks and recreation. There a several Charter schools located in our areas as well. Which has some of the state’s top ratings.

• We offer Non-Traditional hours of care 24 hours per day/ Monday through Sunday.

• Parents receive free Parents night/day out.

• All meals, class supplies, diapers, wipes, pull-ups, and potty training included.

• Field trips, birthday, and holiday parties included.

2. Tour our program See what makes SunShine Child Care unique. If we currently host tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If not, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start hosting tours again.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you’re interested in enrolling, apply by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option is not available, you can message the program director.

Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
