My name is Kris Rondy, owner of Lakeside Daycare. I am a mother to my 32-year-old son Jayme and my 29-year-old daughter Rikki. I have a vast knowledge and experience with children for over 35 years. I previously owned and operated a licensed group daycare when my own children were little. I have worked at Fancher Elementary and the Mt. Pleasant Middle School. I have been married to my husband Matt for 20 years. We have 2 granddaughters and a grandson. They are the reason I have started doing daycare again as they are enrolled in my daycare.

At our daycare, we teach the concepts of math, science, engineering, art, social sciences and early literacy through our play-based, child-led curriculum. We use the interests and ideas of the children as a jumping off place. The materials are open-ended and invite discovery. Children make their own investigations and draw their own conclusions whenever possible.

Join Lakeside Daycare in three easy steps:

1. Contact Kris at (989) 621-8296 to make sure I have availability for your child. If I do, I will then send you in an email a copy of my Daycare Handbook for you to read through.

2. If the Handbook seems like a fit for your family, then we will schedule a tour of the daycare, and we can meet each other and your child.

3. If all goes well, we will set a start date and get the paperwork going.
