Our Director, Betsey, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and brings over 15 years of experience in early childhood education and 25 years of leadership to our team. As a former preschool owner, director, and teacher, she has developed engaging curricula that promote exploration, growth, and learning through movement and play. With experience mentoring and counseling both families and staff, she has built strong school communities where everyone is welcome and growth is encouraged. Her favorite thing about working with kiddos is helping light the spark of curiosity that will foster a lifelong love of learning!

Research shows that movement-related activities accelerate and enhance the skills necessary for kindergarten and elementary school success: Forward, backward, and lateral movements promote reading and writing readiness. Play-based activities develop awareness of letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.
Preparing for School & Beyond Our movement-based program not only nurtures physical development, but also lays a strong foundation for your child’s future academic journey. Through engaging, motion-oriented activities, we help children develop the skills they need to thrive in kindergarten and beyond.

We are located in the Cascade area in Grand Rapids. Just off Cascade road near Spaulding. Our location is off the busy street with a large fenced in grass area next door for play.
