I’m Micheline Mihigo, a devoted wife, and proud mother of four, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to 4JBlessing Childcare. My journey with children began years ago, and every day, my connection with them deepens. Driven by a passion for quality time with little ones, I pursued further education in childcare, earning a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification. With experience working in early headstarts, headstart, and middle schools as a teacher assistant, I’ve been privileged to provide quality education to children in my community.

Through dedication and training, I’ve realized my lifelong dream of establishing 4JBlessing Childcare, a haven for working families. Our ethos is simple: love for children. Our goal is to offer high-quality education in a nurturing environment where both children and parents thrive. Safety is paramount, and I’m committed to ensuring that 4JBlessing Childcare remains a space where young minds flourish. Join us on this journey of learning, love, and laughter!

I have had the privilege of mentoring and working in a classroom with Micheline for the last 2 years. Throughout the pursuit of her CDA at Grand Rapids Community College Micheline demonstrated that she is a hard worker and is one of the most compassionate care teachers I have worked with. She brings humor to the day, she respects children for who they are, and she is a lifelong learner. Micheline treats all children with respect and works to help them become the best version of themselves that they can be. She is a fierce advocate for best practice and is always open to feedback. My professional beliefs and values about teaching and working with young children is that our society needs skilled and educated children who over their learning journey will master the required skills to become valued assets for our growing community. I believe that children learn through play, when children are the at age of exploring and playing, they like to try everything they see. That pushes them to explore it and figure out thing that they enjoy playing with. Playing with siblings or peers help them to know new things like words, names. Children are capable and competent to learn in many ways, they have curious minds, they can learn by listening, watching and experiment. It always important to give children opportunity their imagination, allowing them to explore an activity which is an open ended oriented developmentally appropriate and related to children interest. I believe that my role is to initiate, participate, guide, motivate, respond, and intervene in children learning and development. My role is to help lay the function for education and discovery for the rest of the child’s life. My responsibility is to care and educate children, help them develop cognitive and social development which includes various activities that engage a strong ability to flourish. To constantly planning innovative ways of keeping children actively engaged. Importing knowledge through fun and play.
