Owner/Director

Alicia has been caring for children since she was 12 and has a deep passion for nurturing their growth from infancy through school age. She is fascinated by child development and creates supportive environments where every child can thrive, including those with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other unique needs. Alicia uses age-appropriate strategies for motor skills, language, and social development, always with family consent and collaboration. She values children as individuals and ensures parents feel confident and comfortable with the care she provides.

We believe children learn best when they feel confident enough to share their knowledge with others. Learning is a two-way journey—just as children learn from us, we learn from them. Every child learns differently, so we honor those differences by meeting each child where they are. If confidence takes time to grow, we patiently reintroduce activities and encourage resilience along the way. Through repetition, intentional practice, and nurturing guidance, we help knowledge take root and lasting growth flourishes.

Step 1: Initial Inquiry & Tour

• Prospective parents/guardians contact the daycare for information.
• Schedule a tour of the facility to meet staff and observe the environment.

Step 2: Submission of Application

• Provide prospective parents with the enrollment packet, which includes:
• Enrollment Application Form
• Michigan Immunization Record Requirements Form
• Child Emergency Contact & Medical ConsentForm
• Parent/Guardian Agreement & Acknowledgment Form

Step 3: Required Documents and Forms

• Immunization Records Parents must submit an up-to-date immunization record certified by a healthcare provider, or provide an approved exemption, in accordance with Michigan’s immunization requirements for childcare facilities.
• Child Emergency Contact & Medical Authorization: Complete and submit the Child Emergency Contact Record, including emergency contacts, medical information, and any allergies or special needs.
• Parent/Guardian Agreement: Must include acknowledgment of daycare policies, health requirements, emergency procedures, and licensing standards based on Michigan rules.

Step 4: Review & Approval

• The daycare reviews submitted documentation.
• Confirm immunization compliance, emergency contacts, and understanding of policies.
• Schedule an orientation session if needed.

Step 5: Enrollment Confirmation

• Once approved, parents/guardians sign the parent agreement document.
• Provide parents with a copy of the Parent Handbook and relevant policies.
• Record child’s enrollment and assign a start date.
