Hello my name is Carla Henry, I have been a caregiver for over 50 years.(I started when I was 10 years old babysitting) Volunteered and hired in with the board of education for 10 years, I was a nanny doing the breaks. I ran my own in-home child care for the last 15 years ,the state of Michigan. Heping to make your child’s world the best you can be!

Filosofía

“Play is the work of childhood”- Jean Piaget and I’ve adopted this philosophy for years. We can learn a lot while children are playing. How it contributes to the overall development of children. I also study from Frederick f r o e b e l the father of kindergarten. Reflecting his belief that young children should be nurtured and nursed, like planting a garden.

1. Creative play, would she call gifts and occupations;
2. Singing and dancing for healthy activity;
3. Observing and nurturing plants New garden for stimulating awareness of the natural world. I also believe children learn best through play and felt children should be children. Play, interactive and personalized learning, the importance of all things natural, nurturing a child’s creative talents, and allowing children to take risks are all parts of the rich and warming learning experience.

Ubicación

We’re located on the west side of the city of Detroit. A multiculture family oriented tree line neighborhood. We will be enjoying nice walks and playing playground at the brand new Greenway Joe Lewis Park. Brand new library has opened for storytime reading. Easy access to I-96. The new center area and downtown Detroit approximately 10 minutes away. The new, state of the art Mackenzie Middle School just a few blocks away. A parent’s dream!
