Michele Ellsworth, Director/ Toddler Lead Michele has had a group daycare in her home for over 31 years, she has been going to college to receive her associate in early childhood over the last 2 years through Bay Mills Community College. I have always; loved being around and caring for children she began daycare in her home when her daughter was 3 years old and has continued ever since. She has always dreamed of opening a childcare center of her own and now she is accomplishing just that. She loves being around the children and watching them meet their milestones.
Amanda Hilton, Infant Lead. Amanda Is from Alpena she has worked in the childcare field since she graduated in 2014. She has many hours working with children and childcare trainings and enjoys it very much. She loves the outdoors and being with family.

my boys attended Mrs. Ellsworth’s daycare at her home. We had a good experience there. My youngest boy had a few extra needs, and she was very accommodating and fed him more often to provide him the nutrition needed as I requested. She would send me updates throughout the day and at times pictures with just my children respecting the privacy of the other families. She was able to help me decrease my fears while I was at work.

Michele is a very good provider and always makes sure the children that are in her care are very well taken care of and have everything they need and then some. She always makes sure to keep them safe and warm and makes sure they are happy and having fun.
My husband and I are currently and have been utilizing Sunrise Childcare Center services for our special needs child. She has always been very accommodating and taken care of our child very well. She is very patient and works very well with our child and he has come a very long way in his development while in her care.
