My Teaching Philosophy

I believe the early years of a child’s life are the most important when it comes to their growth

and development. As a teacher it is very important to me to provide a safe, nurturing, learning

environment for the children. I feel it is Important to incorporate a play-based curriculum and

offer an environment that has developmentally appropriate practices and materials to stimulate

learning in the children. I believe that every child learns in different ways. I take into

consideration Diversity though race, religion, culture and abilities. I believe my job as a teacher

is to take all of their different ways of learning and bring them into the classroom. It is important

to promote positive relationships with the children, parents and teacher. Through this philosophy

I will continue to encourage the joy of learning.

Ubicación

I live right off of Route 40 on the line of Maryland and Delaware. I am two blocks from Thompson Estes Elementary School. I am few minutes to the town of Elkton. There are many local stores and businesses close to me.
