Hello, my name is Robin, and I am the Director of Child’s Heart Early Learning. I have been working in childcare for 32 years. My journey into this field began with a significant career transition from law enforcement. After witnessing the pressing need for quality childcare in my community, I realized that this path could bring immense joy and fulfillment into my life. What I enjoy most about working with children is the sheer fun and laughter they bring every day. Watching them grow, learn, and develop is the most fulfilling part of my job, and it reminds me daily why I chose this rewarding career.

She believes that children are all unique and that they should be taught as an individual meaning they all learn at different rates and speeds. At Child’s Heart, our mission is to provide professional, child care services to families in East Baltimore’s Oliver Community.

I believe, every child deserves a safe, nurturing learning environment where their emotional, social, physical and intellectual needs are met on a daily basis.

As a child care professional, I believe my responsibility is to plan, implement, observe and evaluate activities for every child. It is also important for activities to be open-ended, developmentally age-appropriate, and interesting to the child.

I believe, children should explore, discover, experiment, and use their imagination while learning and playing.

Our childcare program is located in a family home, providing a warm and welcoming environment for our students. Inside, we have a spacious classroom with dedicated educational spaces for each student to explore and learn. Outside, we offer a play space where children can run around and have fun, ensuring they get plenty of physical activity. Conveniently situated near St. Vincent de Paul, Head Start, Dr. Bernard Harris Elementary, the Main Post Office, East Baltimore Medical Center, Harbor East, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Mercy Medical Center, our location is ideal for families in the community.
