Imagination Station is a licensed child care home and has been owned and operated by Jessica Downey and Jeannie Owsley since 2011. We achieved National Accreditation through NAFCC in 2016 and are on Paths to Quality level 4. Though we are a child care home, we run out of our own building instead of in a house. This gives us the unique ability to be able to separate age groups and provide age appropriate curriculum but also become like family.

We hold a Class 2 Child Care Home License which means we we can have up to 16 children. We are licensed for ages 6 weeks - 18 years.

Filosofía

In a safe, loving, respectful environment, children have the greatest opportunity to grow and develop; however, we believe we must go above and beyond safety, love, and respect so we strive to create an environment that is fulfilling, enriching and supporting of all possible learning and growing opportunities. These carefree years are far too short. Therefore, we do not rush children through this fun-filled time in their lives. Rather, each child is encouraged to develop and grow at their own pace. We take great care to provide a warm, friendly, and fun environment for every child while ensuring they receive the guidance and structure they need. We strive to nurture children’s ideas and imagination, acknowledge each child’s individuality, and validate each personality. Our goal is to provide a place where children know that they are accepted, loved, protected, and wanted; helping to instill in each child a strong sense of self-worth and purpose.

We provide a meaningful play-based curriculum that builds life skills, independence and confidence to support each child in achieving their potential and to make a smooth transition to school.
