Jazmin Heitz, Director

I graduated from Ivy Tech Community College in 2021 with my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in childcare for 10 years now. I started as an assistant teacher, went to lead teacher, and quickly worked my way up to Director. I have 2 amazing daughters that I enjoy spending time with outside of the childcare. I am passionate about the early years of a child’s development, and improvement upon myself and my teachers to better help children learn and grow each day. I enjoy the hustle and bustle of being a childcare director, and being able to meet and help all of the different families that enter our center.

Philosophy

Tiny Tots & Dots Learning Academy proudly serves families at our two locations—one in Lawrence Township and one in the Castleton area—providing a faith-based, nurturing, and development-focused environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

We are more than a childcare center; we are a ministry. Our mission is to support children spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. Each day, we incorporate prayer before meals, faith-based lessons, and a weekly Wednesday Chapel, helping children build strong character and a solid foundation in faith.

Our programs include before- and after-school care, with transportation available to and from surrounding schools near both locations. We understand the importance of consistency for families, so we work closely with local schools to make transitions smooth and simple.

What truly sets us apart is our commitment to quality and care in every detail—especially our food. All children enjoy home-cooked, nutritious meals prepared in-house and aligned with the Indiana State Food Program guidelines. We believe healthy bodies support healthy minds.

To keep our program exciting and memorable, we host two special activities every month, offering enriching experiences like magic shows, horseback riding, Silly Safaris, Touch-A-Truck events, seasonal festivals, cookie decorating, and so much more. These moments bring joy, spark curiosity, and create lasting memories for our children.

Location

We are conveniently located across the street from Castleton Square Mall on Knue Rd. We are tucked back into a street, away from flowing traffic. Our location is quiet, secluded, and safe.

About our program

We embrace a learning environment that will prepare children for the first day of school and beyond. The classroom is separated into learning centers that promote skill development through various hands-on activities. Your needs and your child’s needs are our top priority. Our focus is on development and communication skills. We work closely with parents and our community to provide high-quality childcare and education.

Admissions

Schedule on the website here, call our center at 317-855-3565, or email [email protected] to schedule a tour, view our facility, meet the teachers, and get all daycare related information. After the tour, if you would like to enroll, the director will go over company policies, handbook, and more. Enrollment fees will be collected, and parents may collect enrollment packets, or fill out in the center. We will then schedule a start for parents with CCDF, a provider form will be given for submission. Once your child(ren) are on the list, your students will be ready to start once all required documents are provided to the center. Parents will be added to Brightwheel, to receive updates on their child and teacher communication may be used on the app as well.
