Nuestros profesores

Our program is led by Founder & Owner Nicole Anderson, MPH, a Professor and Director of International Programs at Indiana University with extensive experience building partnerships across the globe.

Nicole has dedicated her career to education, public health, and global engagement, working with institutions and communities to create meaningful learning opportunities for students of all ages. She has lived internationally, including in China, where she taught English and supported language development through immersive instruction.

Her global perspective and expertise in culturally responsive education shape the foundation of Smart Sprouts. Our teachers are guided by a commitment to developing strong literacy skills, fostering multilingual learning, and preparing children to thrive in kindergarten and beyond.

Our teachers bring strong educational backgrounds and are deeply committed to the mission and principles of Smart Sprouts. Each educator goes through a rigorous hiring process and must demonstrate their ability to effectively deliver curriculum aligned to the developmental needs of the children they teach.

Together, our team creates a nurturing, structured environment where children build strong literacy skills, develop confidence, and grow as multilingual, globally aware learners prepared for kindergarten and beyond.

Filosofía

Our program is rooted in the belief that early childhood is the foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, and global awareness. At Smart Sprouts, we provide a structured, nurturing environment where children are immersed in language, literacy, and meaningful learning experiences every day.

We take a multilingual approach to early education, introducing children to English, Spanish, and Mandarin through everyday interactions, storytelling, music, and play. Language is not taught in isolation—it is woven into how children learn, communicate, and understand the world around them.

Our curriculum is literacy-focused and designed to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. Through intentional instruction, hands-on exploration, and Montessori-inspired practices, children build strong reading foundations, develop critical thinking skills, and gain the confidence to express themselves.

We believe children learn best in environments that are both structured and supportive. Our educators guide each child’s development while fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
