Testimonials

“We started sending our 4-month-old during the COVID pandemic. Needless to say, we were very cautious and selective when we finally decided to send our child to this daycare.

Day Early Learning State Government Center helped put our minds at ease by abiding by strict COVID guidelines, making sure that all the children were safe, and being in constant communication.

We especially love Ms. Aar-Yana who is in charge of the infant classrooms. She is very caring and very receptive to any concerns that parents may have.

The daycare does a great job of keeping the children engaged by having a variety of activities that change every week. We are now running out of space on our fridge from all the artwork he brings back home.

We also feel comfortable leaving him at this center as it has very robust security checkpoints since it is a government building.”

Philosophy

Day Early Learning’s Theory of Teaching and Learning believes that every child is competent & capable, learns through relationships with adults and peers, constructs knowledge from diverse experiences, learns and develops at a unique and individual pace, and is constantly learning. As a result of these core beliefs, we are committed to ensuring every child has access to the educational resources they need to thrive.

About our program

The Day Early Learning State Government Center provides high-quality early learning to children ages 6 weeks to 6 years in downtown Indianapolis. Scenically located on the downtown canal within the Indiana State Government building, this center is convenient for both state employees and downtown commuters, as it is open to the public. With families from all over the world, this center is very culturally diverse.

At Day Early Learning State Government Center, your child will learn and grow in a safe environment. This center has 11 spacious classrooms, an indoor gross motor area and an outdoor playground. Additionally, our center is located right on the canal where the children can view the city’s murals, museums and parks. Classrooms are designed to provide a fun learning environment and are outfitted with developmentally appropriate learning materials to allow your child to explore and learn.
