Our Teachers

Our teachers wear many hats in this facility. We emphasize education through the Leap Frog curriculum, having students learn through play and lesson plans in order to be ready for kindergarten and beyond. We are counselors helping students guide their social problems through modeling and responses using appropriate techniques. We are cooks providing healthy and nutritious foods for breakfast, lunch, and snacks in order for students to have energy to learn and play. We are nurses helping those that are sick and taking care of cuts/scrapes as little ones navigate their world through play (and occasional fall). Overall we are coaches/cheerleaders teaching students through modeling and praising them for trying their best in order to succeed beyond the classroom.

Testimonials

I would refer this daycare to anyone that is looking for childcare. It’s well kept and clean. I just moved to Indiana and was referred to Little Thinkers Daycare. I felt VERY comfortable leaving my kids at the daycare while I work. My oldest daughter never wants to leave when she is there. That should tell you a lot. Management is awesome too, by the way! -Briana Crowder

Anyone looking for early education for your children this would be a great location. The staff is friendly, hot meals are served daily, and the environment is clean with a bunch of toys and activities for the kids to do. -Cclark

Philosophy

At our school the program revolves around learning through play. Jean Piaget (education theorist) says, “Play is an integral to the intelligence in children. As the child matures their play should encourage cognitive and language development.” We take Jean Piaget’s theories to heart and emphasize learning through the art of play, so students have fun developing their skills which are needed throughout their lives. We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. Our team of experienced and innovative teachers do this by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.

Location

Our location is in an amazing neighborhood, with a big playground and tons of room for little ones to grow and develop. We are located at the red door with a bell system to allow parents/guardians in and locks strangers out. Address: 2811 McCormick Ave Fort Wayne, IN 46804
