Hello! I am Matenneh Sesay, the founder of Divine MH Daycare Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program, because I have loved working with children since I was young. I have 5 years of experience working with young children. I have my own son who is 3 years old and I have loved teaching him and watching him grow.
I enjoy preparing children for kindergarten and beyond. When children come to my program, I help them get acclimated to learning by building essential skills and and creating a safe and fun environment
Filosofía
At Divine Motherhood Daycare Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by following their own unique style of discovery. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps prepare children to thrive in school and the broader world. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings. I love reading, writing, and other hands on activities every day with my children. It is so rewarding to see my students go home and talk to their families about what they are learning and what they enjoy doing in my program.
Ubicación
Divine Motherhood Daycare Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, warm apartment in the Rogers Park neighborhood. We are located around the corner from Pottawattomie Park and a 10-15 minute walk from the Howard Purple and Redline Train Station.
At Divine MH Daycare Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play and learn through hands on activities that help build social, emotional, language, physical, mathematic, and literacy skills.
Acerca de nuestro programa
I’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), and art area (for expressing emotions and ideas).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday (weather permitting) at a mix of both my private yard and local parks and playgrounds. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/divine-mh-daycare-wonderschool-5728/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
4. Enroll
After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
