Kearis Ochs, Director
Kearis has a bachelor’s degree in in Elementary Education, and has been working in early childhood education for over 7 years. She founded Whole Child in 2020. . She believes in loving and valuing children as the beautiful little people they are, and the powerful adults they will become. Kearis was raised in Bear Lake, Idaho and has settled here in Rexburg with her husband, John, who is also a teacher. They have a 5 year old spunky-sweet daughter named Ava.
Hailey Carter- Lead Teacher
Hailey has been working in childcare for over 8 years. She has worked with all age groups, and is wonderful at guiding her students in a loving, structured way. She and her husband live in Rexburg, and they have the sweetest 1 year old girl!
Angie Edwards- Lead Teacher
Angie is from Long Island, New York. She has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and is wonderful at providing a calm, loving, and educational environment for our students. She lives here in Rexburg with her husband.
Aubrey Palmer- Afternoon Teacher
Aubrey grew up in Southern California, but my family is now in North Carolina. She loves working with kids because she gets to see their personalities and relationships develop and know that she is helping them build a sturdy foundation for their lives. Aubrey is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.

We believe that children have a natural drive to learn. Our goal is provide a rich learning environment, create activities that encourage them to try new things, and watch them fly.
Children have a variety of activities each day to choose from in the areas of dramatic play, music, literacy, art, STEM, motor skills, and practical life skills. Teachers act as guides to each student’s development, and activities are dynamic, changing and adapting with the needs and interests of the students.
