Hello, welcome to our program! My name is Shawn, the founder and director of Nampa Wings 2 Fly. I have been caring for young children for since 1998 and have owned and operated Wings 2 Fly for 7 years. I started my career working with children and adults with disabilities. I also have a background in Medicine as a former CNA. I am passionate about early education and truly love having an impact on the earliest stage of children’s academic lives. I am excited to meet you and provide your children with the highest quality care and education.

At Nampa Wings 2 Fly, we follow the played based curriculum philosophy, which is a non-academic approach to developing skills designed to provide a firm foundation for later academic success. We help your child develop feelings of security, accomplishment, and self-esteem while living the daily and weekly rhythms that are woven into the cycle of the year. On any given day, we may enjoy art, storytelling, movement, and local excursions to experience the world around us. Children are encouraged to explore and learn through unstructured play, which fosters lifelong creativity and intellectual curiosity.
