Augusta Sanchez is the Director of Daycare Little Giants and has 12 years of experience working with children. Augusta has 3 adult children, one of which sometimes assists with the children in her daycare (Mayta).

Augusta started Daycare Little Giants because she saw the great need of friends seeking child care for their children, and also related to the need to find quality, safe childcare for her own children in the past. When she lost her previous job due to the factory closing, she visited a daycare to see how opening up a child care business works. She fell in love with the opportunity and with the help of her daughter and others, opened up Daycare Little Giants.

We focus on age-appropriate learning so children know the foundations such as ABCs and colors. We enjoy singing and reading together daily, and we also prioritize following routines to help children know what to expect such as nap time. For older children, we also help with other subjects such as math.

Daycare Little Giants opened its doors in 2012 and is a family child care in Augusta Sanchez’s home. We focus on play-based learning and hands-on activities to help children learn from the world around them.
