About the Owner
My name is Jessika Paulk, and I have worked in early childhood education since 2004. I began my career with a licensed in-home provider, where I spent ten years learning the foundations of quality early learning and individualized care. From there, I opened my own in-home program (2014–2016) and then expanded into Little Sprouts Learning Academy, which has proudly served Douglasville families since 2016.
Teaching has always been my passion, but becoming a mother made it personal. When my son was born, I couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with his care, so I decided to open my own center. Through my hands-on curriculum and nurturing approach, I watched him thrive — and it inspired me to share that same level of care, safety, and learning with other families.
I hold Quality Rated credentials, maintain certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety, and complete at least 18 hours of continuing education each year. Little Sprouts Learning Academy remains in good standing with Georgia DECAL and follows the highest standards for early childhood programs.
There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a child’s “aha!” moment — that spark when something they’ve been working on suddenly clicks. Those moments are what drive me and my team every day.
About Our Staff
Our dedicated teachers share my passion for nurturing children in a warm, family-like environment. Each staff member is trained in CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety, and participates in ongoing professional development and Georgia DECAL-approved training. Together, we bring years of combined classroom experience and a genuine love for helping little ones learn and grow through play, exploration, and positive guidance.
