Mary Johnson! She has worked in child care for over 10 years and has had a passion for it since freshman year of high school. Now she is finally reaching her dream goal of opening her own in-home daycare.
Filosofía
At our preschool, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young nature explorers inspired by the Montessori philosophy. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together. All while I encourage them to be independent and live happy and Healthy Lifestyles by being active outdoors. We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, fun and learning happens. We do this by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it. When learning is fun children don’t realize that they are learning to count to 100 by doing jumping jacks outside or by counting rocks as they throw them.
Ubicación
We’re in the Russell Oaks neighborhood of Lake Asbury on a Suburban street in a single family home. With easy access to the Ronnie Van Zant Park are just a short walk away. We’re also just steps to a duck pond for fishing. We live in a wonderful peaceful, quiet location with a children’s Paradise in the backyard- a parent’s dream!
