Kimberly Quirarte, Director| Kimberly graduated from Pacific Oaks College Pasadena, CA 2019 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development with an emphasis in Child Development. In 2014, after graduating with her Associates Degree in Child Development and having continuously working with little ones she realized her dream was to one day have her own childcare where she can instill a love for learning where children in her care can learn through play in a safe and nurturing environment that is able to support all their developmental needs. That dream became more evident after she had her baby during the 2020 pandemic. Becoming a mother really put life into perspective. She realized she wanted to contribute not only to her family but other families as-well. By providing quality care and creating a loving atmosphere for all the children in her care she believes she is setting a foundation for any child that joins our family at Learning Time Adventures home childcare.

Our curriculum is inspired by RIE/Reggio and play-based activities guided with Montessori inspiration. Our program offers individual child’s learning process as we all learn at our own pace. Essentially play-based learning combines a form of child-led play such as open-ended play or imaginative play. We also focus on assisting every student in their milestone development, teach core areas like language based-phonics, math concepts, science, Art, intro into Spanish., sensory. Through Individual workbooks, class portfolio and assessments we gather the progress of your child to continue to set them up for success. My daycare provides social emotional awareness, provides space for toddlers to feel safe and empower their voice in an environment full of respect, empathy and kindness. We also recognize positive communication and relationships between teachers and families as a crucial element in providing a consistent and beneficial experiences for the children. Therefore please don’t hesitate to communicate any questions/concerns regarding your child. We know our babies are adults in the making so I believe I can instill a love for learning while having fun exploring the world in our tight knit community we are building. We value family, we value life.

Learning Time Adventures is conveniently located in the calm city of West Covina. We are right off the 10 freeway, on the exit of Azusa ave next to McDonald’s and Tacos el Gavilan. We are two blocks from Azusa exit in a peaceful quiet neighborhood so it’s a quick commute on and off the freeway for any busy parent on the go!
