Hello! I am Gisela Izaguirre, the founder of Mi Casita Home Daycare. I am originally from Honduras and moved to America in 2005. I have two children (23 and 18!) and I was previously a nanny. I feel so fortunate to be a part of those families and that the parents trusted in me to care for their children. When children are with me, I want them to feel like they are with someone who loves them just like they are my own family. I am constantly looking to learn new ideas of how to care for children and using different resources for improving my daycare. I take regular trainings to better my program and the community I live in. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow.

As our nanny and housekeeper, Gisela was a wonderful addition to our family. She cared for my children with the utmost attention and love. And to this day, continues to have a loving relationship with our entire family. - Avi Downes
Gisela has worked for us for the last 5 years and has helped me raise our two daughters (now 11 and 8 years old). In the five years I’ve known Gisela, she has truly become a part of our family. We fully trust her and she devotes her full attention to each child and gives each what she individually needs. She conducts herself professionally, respects confidentiality, and is able to connect with people of all ages. - Sonja V. Lutz
Our family hired Gisela to work as our nanny in my home just over two and a half years ago. Gisela has demonstrated tremendous responsibility in taking care of our children (primarily, Sabine, now age 4; and also part time, Scarlett, now age 8). She is kind, trustworthy and great with children. It is clear to me that working as a nanny is a passion for Gisela. She truly loves working with the children, and I see this manifest in her creative ideas for activities, as well as the compassion she exhibits. She keeps the children occupied and most importantly, safe. - Stefanie Volanto and Thomas Kashickey
Gisela Izaguirre has been our go-to baby sitter for our two daughters for the last 12 months until the present date. During her time with us, Gisela has been nothing short of both professional and thoughtful in her work. Gisela is both punctual and reliable, but most importantly she always has our daughters’ best interest at heart. Whenever she helps us out, our daughters are is happy, and excited to see her. Having Gisela in our daughters’ lives has had a significantly positive impact on our family. - Katarina Oppenheim
Filozofi
At Mi Casita Home Daycare, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel welcomed and at home. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished.
Kote
Mi Casita Home Daycare is located in a bright, beautiful single family home in the Visalia neighborhood.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), sensory area (for spatial awareness and learning through the five senses), and music and movement area (for physical activity and cultural learning).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!
At Mi Casita Home Daycare, I want to provide a loving home away from home.
