Hello! I am Keyla Bell, the founder of Kidz Korner Childrens Center. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 22 years of experience working with young children.

Our philosophy is centered on the development of the whole child in a safe, nurturing environment. Children learn best through hands-on experiences, using age-appropriate materials combined with play-based activities. We value children’s imagination and curiosity, providing a safety net for risks taking and exploration. Children have opportunities to develop autonomy, responsibility, leadership skills, and prosocial behaviors. Our strength-based approach fosters positive self-esteem, confidence, and empathy. Every child can reach their full potential with support from teachers, families, and the community. Additionally, we believe in providing a space where children can follow their unique style of discovery and engage with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. Children are encouraged to explore their interests in a safe environment.

Kidz Korner Childrens Center is located in a charming, warm city of Santa Monica westside neighborhood.

Children will spend about half of their time outdoors at mix of both my private yard and local parks and playgrounds. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

At Kidz Korner Childrens Center, we want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Kidz Korner Childrens Center unique. Please schedule a tour or attend an Open House event.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
