Hello! I am Claribel Gomez, the founder of Shining Stars Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 10 years of experience working with young children.

At Shining Stars Wonderschool, I treat all of the children like my own family. I keep a very organized program with more than enough activities for children to grow, learn, and thrive while feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. I believe that children are like “shining stars” and I aim to help them show their brilliance through music and movement, games and reading.

It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel welcomed and at home. In our program, children will feel empowered to follow their own interests in a safe space.

Shining Stars Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, warm single family home in the San Jose neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include a reading / cozy area (for literacy, and relaxation), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and nature area (for discovering nature and science concepts).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!
