Nuestros profesores
Our teachers are all fully qualified, with varying levels of education in Early Childhood Education, and have anywhere from 2-30 years of experience teaching toddlers and preschoolers. Most importantly, our teachers are nurturing, observant, responsive, creative and have a genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow.
Filosofía
Our mission is to provide a place where children can be children; have that playful, joyful, meaningful, social, hands-on experience that every child should have. Within this experience, we help children become fully prepared for kindergarten and life! We provide a developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning experience with some teacher-guided activities and plenty of time for free play and child-directed learning.
Ubicación
We are in the sunny Mission District of San Francisco, located a few blocks away from the 24th St. transportation hub with BART and many Muni bus lines, as well as tech bus stops. The on ramp to 280 and 101 can be accessed 5 minutes from our location for that Peninsula and Silicon Valley commute. The Mission branch of the SF Public Library is a few blocks away, and we are close to a few well-loved parks. Many families stroll or bike to our location.
Acerca de nuestro programa
SF Tikes Academy, nestled in the heart of San Francisco’s sunny Mission District, fosters little ones’ growth through interactive learning experiences, from 18 months to TK. Our curriculum nurtures independence, prepares for school, and promotes social skills with a focus on hands-on education. Parents can choose from either the Spanish immersion or English program. There is an on-site garden, science lab and plenty of outdoor play space within our updated, airy and light-filled facility.
