Nuestros profesores

Our licensed home child care is led by Veronica Lainez, a child care provider with over 17 years of experience working as a Nanny and a Doula for individual families. At 22, she came to the United States, where she has dedicated her life to providing child care for many families throughout the years. She is a mother of three, with children ages 4, 10, and 20. She now wants to use her experience to create a learning environment where children can learn and grow at their own pace.

Filosofía

Mimi’s Playhouse is a Spanish immersion, play-based program that will feel like a child’s second home. We believe every child grows at a different rhythm. Our goal is for each child to feel comfortable exploring and learning through play, while we listen and document our observations. We strive to reflect on developmentally appropriate ways to help children expand their academic and social potentials. It is important to us that the children’s opinions are being heard and considered. We emphasize group work and collaboration in order to encourage children to respect each other and create community. We cater to each child’s unique needs and hope to foster a loving and safe learning environment.

Come see what makes Mimi’s Playhouse unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/mimi’s-playhouse-8741/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
