Hello! I am Winnie Ha, the founder of Great Family Bilingual Child Care Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I have 7 years of experience working with young children.

I am also a parent. I have two kids of my own. One is 10 years old and one is 5 years old.

I also have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from City College of San Francisco. I also have a First Aid and CPR certificates.

At Great Family Bilingual Child Care Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel welcomed and at home. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished.

Play-based learning is an essential part of this program. Children will participate in child-directed and voluntary free play. For example, in our program we have a block area and imaginative play. Weekly we will do an imaginative play activity like dressing up like your family or favorite book character. These activities will help your child blossom and grow.

Great Family Bilingual Child Care Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, bright single family home in the Silver Terrace neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday. We got to local parks in the neighborhood everyday. Connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themselves and the world.

At Great Family Bilingual Child Care Wonderschool, I want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/great-family-bilingual-child-care-wonderschool-2937/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
