Hello! I am Adriana Guzman, the founder of Carita Feliz Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young and always wanted to find a way to work with kids in my work. I have 18 years of experience working with young children.

Filosofía

At Carita Feliz Wonderschool, we want children to learn in both English and Spanish so that they can communicate in both languages! We teach kids to be respectful and how to share with their friends so that they are able to form lasting relationships.

Ubicación

Carita Feliz Wonderschool is located in a beautiful, inviting single family home in the Pinole neighborhood.

Our space has a main activity area, a separate area for nap time, and a large backyard where kids will spend lots of time outdoors exploring and running around having fun! Our space has a sandbox, dramatic play areas and lots of manipulative toys.

At Carita Feliz Wonderschool, I want to provide a space where kids have lots of room to dance and play!

Acerca de nuestro programa

Carita Feliz is a Spanish -English bilingual child care program. Research shows that there are many benefits of learning a second language for children, especially in early education.

Cognitive benefits of bilingual and language immersion early care

• Children who attend bilingual preschool have a better ability to monitor their immediate environment compared to monolinguals. They exhibit more mental flexibility and a stronger ability to switch between tasks (also known as ‘working memory’)
• Children who attend bilingual preschool show increased self-regulation skills

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Carita Feliz Wonderschool unique. Please schedule a tour or attend an Open House event.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
