Hello! I am Ricardo Rizzo, the founder of Rizzo Family Childcare Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have experience working with children in my family owned childcare program, and also raising my own children. I am a certified CPR instructor and value the safety of your children above all.

Jimena Rosales is the assistant teacher at Rizzo Family Childcare Wonderschool. Jimena is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Child Development and has 5 years of experience working with children.

Filosofía

At Rizzo Family Childcare Wonderschool, we provide a true family environment for children to learn and thrive in. Our goal is to make children feel at home in our program, and to provide a safe and loving environment where children feel empowered to be themselves.

Ubicación

Rizzo Family Childcare Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, charming single family home in the Panorama City neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), and sensory area (for spatial awareness and learning through the five senses).

Children will have spend outdoor time everyday in my private yard.

We’ve provided information about our philosophies and offerings to help you decide if our program may be right for your family.

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Rizzo Family Childcare Wonderschool unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/rizzo-family-childcare-wonderschool-3414/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
