Hello! I am Evangelina Avalos, the founder of Avalos Family Child Care Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have 20 years of experience working with young children.

Welcome! We are pleased that you are interested in this child care program for your family’s needs.

Here at Avalos Family Child Care Inc., we believe that communication is a key factor in creating a successful partnership with parents. We operate our child care as a business in a professional manner, providing quality child care in a loving home-environment for your children. You can trust that your children are our priority here. We firmly believe in and implement a safe, healthy and educational environment for your children.

We strive to create an environment that nurtures each child’s self-esteem, and will encourage their imagination and exploration. We have organized our home to make it a safe place for children to explore and learn.

We believe that children need a chance to be just what they are — CHILDREN. Children learn through play. We try to provide many opportunities for them to discover things about the world they live in. Children are very bright and need to feel special how they are. We believe that each child has their own personality and bring something unique to our program. Our intention is to give every child his/her own time and understand his/her needs. We do not discriminate against their culture, color or religion: they are all treated equally.

We believe that children of ages 0 - 5 have the capacity and advantage to learn more (and faster!). Therefore, we encourage every parent to consider early education for their children. Every child will be experiencing and learning many things as they play. Avalos Family Child Care, Inc.’s goals are to encourage emotional, social and cognitive development.

Ubicación

Avalos Family Child Care Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, beautiful single family home in the Panorama City neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include an art area (for expressing emotions and ideas), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and cozy reading area.

Arts & crafts projects are some of my favorite activities to do with children, so we spend plenty of time at these tables coloring, painting, drawing, writing and more!

At Avalos Family Child Care Wonderschool, I want to provide a loving home away from home.

Come see what makes Avalos Family Child Care Wonderschool unique. Please schedule a tour or attend an Open House event.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
