Adriena Smith, Director of Love Centered Daycare started her early childhood program after having her own two babies ages 2 and 9 months. She fosters a love for all youth as she believes they are the center of our growing world. Adriena obtained her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Cal State University East Bay and has over 15 years of experience working in the educational field. Adriena is passionate about social emotional learning, spreading human kindness, and pouring love and light into children in various capacities. An average day in her care will consist of reading, music fun, napping, toys, beginners’ art, sensory play, mastering fine motor skills amongst other fun activities. Adriena finds an abundance of joy from working in a safe, loving, nurturing environment for infants to thrive and learn every day!

Adriena is wonderful! She shares updates and photos throughout the day and a detailed log at the end of each day. I cant tell after only one week that my son loves her. I feel safe and reassured leaving him in her care.

Adriena is fantastic! She is incredibly warm and loving towards our son. She is invested in his development and is genuinely excited to see him thrive. I feel such comfort and security leaving him with her every day - she is truly like a second mother to him and I love her for it!

At our childcare facility, we believe in teaching love and kindness through play and social interaction. We follow a play-based approach where children learn to navigate their physical and social environment, while also imagining and constructing new realities. Through play, they practice problem-solving skills, explore concepts of love, wisdom, and safety.
