Hello! I am Angelica Gutierrez, the founder of Gutierrez Family Child Care Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have nine years of experience working with young children.

At Gutierrez Family Child Care Wonderschool, we take pride in offering a clean, welcoming and spacious environment for young ones to grow and prosper. I believe that children need a variety of activities to expose them to diverse learning opportunities, so we plan plenty of arts & crafts and interactive lessons. I also believe in letting children follow their natural interests, so our schedule allows for indoor and outdoor “free play” where children can engage with their surroundings through their own creativity and imagination.

Gutierrez Family Child Care Wonderschool is located in a warm and welcoming single family home in the Arlington Heights neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include a reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite), block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), and art area (for expressing emotions and ideas).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

At Gutierrez Family Child Care Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
