Hi, I’m Sharrette Arnold and I’m the Director of Arnold Family Child Care & Wonderschool. I’ve been running my program for over a year.

I was inspired to start my own program after failing to find quality child care for my own twins. In fact, I am a mother of three and a grandmother. I wanted to make a change within my community so all children could have access to a quality early learning experience. My favorite part of working with children is watching infants blossom as they come into their own.

In my spare time, I love to read, volunteer, and spend time with my family.

Arnold Family Child Care & Wonderschool is a home-based child care program for infants run by a passionate and loving caregiver with a commitment and devotion to working with young children.

Arnold Family Child Care & Wonderschool is located in a peaceful neighborhood in South LA. We are five minutes from the 110 and 10 highways for easy transport at drop off and pick up.

We believe spending time outdoors is essential for happy, healthy children. The kids in our program get outdoor time twice a day - in the morning and after nap time - in our front yard.

We treat our students like they are our own, putting time, love, and care into interactions with each and every child. We are patient and meet the children where they are. The children engage in daily activities to stimulate their senses and curiosities. For example, we love singing, reading, learning about letters and numbers, and using flash cards together. We also offer age appropriate toys for infants like cars, teddy bears, noise makers, and teething toys.

Parent communication is important to us. We let parents know what we are up to on a day-to-day basis, including what the kids have learned that day. If there are any issues, we let parents know immediately and in real time.

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/arnold-family-child-care-wonderschool-3881/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
