Hello! I am Annaluz Rockefeller, the founder of Annaluz’s Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program, as it has been a longtime dream of mine to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I have 20 years teaching experience with young children. I am a credentialed teacher with a Master’ s Degree in Education, and hold Early Childhood Certificates for children of all abilities.

Filosofía

At Annaluz’s Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel empowered to follow their own interests in a safe space.

Ubicación

Annaluz’s Wonderschool is located in a bright, welcoming single family home in the Sunset Neighborhood neighborhood.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include art area (for expressing emotions and ideas), block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), and nature area (for discovering nature and science concepts).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

At Annaluz’s Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

Annaluz’s Wonderschool offers a warm and bright home environment as the foundation for children to blossom and grow developmentally. Our small group and home environment affords us the luxury to focus on the individual needs and interests of each child.

We’ve provided information about our philosophies and offerings to help you decide if our program may be right for your family.

2. Tour our program

Come see what makes Annaluz’s Wonderschool unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/annaluz-s-wonderschool-5759/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
