At Play 2 Learn our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging play and learning environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for all children. In the early years, children learn the best through play. Through play children use their creativity to negotiate, discover, share, and problem solve. We promote this learning environment by providing an intentionally prepared environment that is thoughtfully designed to take into consideration the developmental capabilities of all children.
Play 2 Learn philosophy is implemented through a blended, best practice approach. Learning philosophies from Maria Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, Jean Piaget, and Lev Vygotsky are evident in the program. A blended approach sets children for a unique experience to learning by using the most reputable philosophies.
We prepare a stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors for children’s natural curiosity and desire to make sense of their world. Adults guide children through trial and error, repetition, thinking skills, and relationship building with other children.
